Obituary of Anna Marie Thornsbury

Anna Marie (Perry) Thornsbury, 84 of Fort Gay, West Virginia, passed away on Saturday December 21, 2024 following a brief illness.

Mrs. Thornsbury was born on Friday May 17, 1940 in Dunlow, West Virginia, the daughter of the late Homer and the late Hester (Meade) Perry.

She is proceeded in death by her parents and her husband, Fred Thornsbury.

Mrs Thornsbury was the Matriarch of five generations which includes two daughters, Donita (Randy) Webb and Debra (Larry) Copley; a son, Bryan (Machelle) Chaney; a stepdaughter, Linda (Doug) Hurst. She was the grandmother of Brandon Webb, Larry Andrew Copley, Derrick Webb, Casey Ryan Copley, Breanna Chaney, Keisha Thorpe, Brynlee Adams, Crystal Sims, and Aubree Adams. She also leaves behind seventeen Great-Grandchildren and one Great-Great Grandson.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 23, 2024 at 2:00 PM at Wilson Funeral Home in Louisa with Pastors Leonard Napier and Tom Dials officiating. Burial will follow in the Welllman Cemetery on Route 37 in Fort Gay.

Friends may call on Monday from Noon until the time of services.
