Please share a memory of Sharon to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Sharon Kay McKenzie 75 of Louisa, Kentucky went home to be with the Lord on  January 3, 2025 following a sudden illness.

Sharon was born July 28, 1949 at Elna, Kentucky the daughter of the late Dora and Casteria Salyer McKenzie. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by a brother Frankie McKenzie, a brother Georgie McKenzie, sister twins Belvia and Delvie McKenzie.

She was a retired local florist.

To know Sharon was to love her. If you were around her she would make you laugh!  She had a wittiness charm about her that made people love her. Sharon never met a stranger, and would make friends quickly and make them to laugh too. On the other, hand she was like everyone else, she had a temper!!  You, didn't want to scare her, because she might use some of her colorful language, so sometimes people would scare just to hear her, and see her little fit, and definitely don't throw water on her.  She could preach your funeral, and make you laugh till your belly hurt. With no disrespect toward God. When she was young she was literally the life of the party. Sharon was smart, and talented.  She has lived and worked in Louisa for years, and made many friends, and possibly an enemy or two!  She was kind, good hearted, and if you wanted to be her friend, it was easy. Sharon grew up in church and was a believer in our Lord Jesus Christ.  Now she is with Him and we should celebrate her at peace in in His Glory. Thanks for the kind words on internet, in person, or just your well wishes and hugs. Sharon you will be missed, and our loss is Heavens gain. To God be the Glory.  Sharon would like for each of us to put a smile on our faces Now and remember all to the wonderful times she spent with each and everyone of us.

Survivors include two sons Ronnie Perry and wife Erin and Keith Dials and wife Katy; grandchildren Colson Perry, Corbin Perry, Camden Perry, Audrey (Brandon) Thornbury, and Nathaniel Dials; sisters Gaye Griffith, Susie Holstein, Garnett Skaggs, and Bonnie Sturgill; a brother Emmerson McKenzie; several nieces and nephews, and a host of friends.
